EARTHBOUND!

One of the games that i have been trying to find for a year. I got lucky enough to find someone on craigslist selling his collection and included in this collection was Earthbound. He was the original owner of Earthbound, bought brand new at fred myer it looks like. First it was just the Cartridge for $80. The day before we were going to meet, he found the box and Manuel. He offered it for another 50 Dollars! so thats $130 for a Complete in box Earthbound. Along with the Earthbound i picked up a Complete in Box, Super Gameboy, and Ninja Gaiden 3.
and heres my copy of Earthbound!

Super Castlevania IV

So yesterday after the long day of game hunting, i come home and check craigslist real quick to check out what was there. To my surprise i found someone who had a garage sale and had super nintendo games. well by the time i was home the garage sale was over, but i decided to give him a call anyway and it turns out somehow he still had Castlevania IV Complete in Box in great condition.... for only $20. And here it is! :)

Today must have just been a lucky day on craigslist because i also met up with someone and got a sega genesis with 18 games for $30. Though most of the games were common it is still great to add 18 more games to my collection :) Everyone have a great day!

Flea Market Adventures!

Had a great day today at the flea market in Tacoma looking for some good games. Took a while to find some good deals in there but it actually turned out to be a pretty good day.

Picked up a few 2600 games a guy was selling for a dollar a piece

 

Also picked up a couple cool Dreamcast games as well as Crash Bandicoot Warped for PS1

And Buldurs Gate was given to me by Dylan today.

Got Mortal Kombat for Genesis and SNES, along with Doom and Turok Rage Wars at the flea market. The other 2 SNES games came from Super Smash Games in Tacoma. Great gaming store for any console you can think of. They have from 2600 to 360 even the Saturn, lynx, 3DO +more.

Also got a few NES games from super smash all for 2-3 bucks a piece

And this is where it gets pretty interesting,  2 SEALED Atari Lynx games for $5 bucks a piece. Really want to play them, but id feel pretty bad opening up something that has been preserved for 20 some years. Also picked up Bartman, Hulk, Jurassic Park, and Heady for the Game Gear for a few bucks a piece

And lastly I decided I needed a couple newer games for DS. Metroid Prime Hunters and Mario Party DS

 

Also near the end of our day dylan got pretty lucky and got a Conkers Bad Fur Day for N64 for $8! Really good find and a rare game!

That is all for todays haul. Was defineatly a good day to go out game hunting. Me and Dylan have our youtube channel up now. No videos, but we will film when we are at the seattle retro gaming expo next weekend and will start to post! Bitbrothers64. Game Hunting!

Went on a great game hunting adventure with my friend Dylan! we found a bunch of cool stuff for pretty cheap. Not too many older titles but picked up quite a few of ps2 and Xbox games.

Added to my NES collection here with Kung Fu, Sky Shark, Black Bass, Total Recall, Cobra Command and Captain Skyhawk. Also added one SNES game which requires super scope called Battle Clash

Both Mechassault 1 and 2, a couple of my favorites from when i was younger. SSX, Unreal 2 and Monster Garage. which took about 20 minutes for the lady at goodwill to find it!

Decided to go on a little Ratchet and Clank spree here with 4 of them. As well as finding Crash Nitro Circuit, Tomb Raider, Sonic Heroes, and Kingdom of Hearts

Now i got this SNES from someone on Craigslist along with the games below for $20. Got some of the marker off... if anyone knows how to get it off i'd like to know!

Picked up 2 boxed games Super Empire Strikes Back, and The Wander's of Y 3? Never heard of it but looked pretty cool. Along with those also picked up Donkey Kong Country 3 to complete that trilogy :)

That was our day! thought it was pretty successful and a great way to come back to vacation! Keep a look out, me and my friend Dylan who i do most of my "game hunting" with will be coming out with a YouTube channel and we will document our finds as well as being posted here. Also the Seattle and Portland retro gaming expos are coming up in Seattle on the 13th and 14th of July, and in Portland the 5th and 6th of October!

NES Top Loader!!!

Picked up an NES Top loader today! For those that don't know, it is the same as the NES that most people know but you just put the cartridge in the top hence the name "Top Loader". It was released in October of 1993 and was only in retail for a short 5 months which makes it even harder to find! The best part is, its for sale! Since the consoles are rare and hard to find its $90 OBO, this will include, power supply, Rf Cable, 1 controller, Super Mario/ Duck Hunt, and a zapper gun controller. Shoot me an email and i can either set up shipping or local pick up!
